DWC HAVELOCK GOES ON SALE ON 29th MAY AT 6PM

FAQ'S for the sale of Terra

1) Are there any special links, preference codes, or prebookings?

There will be no Special link or preference code provided. This system was introduced to ensure the sale happens in the fairest way possible and enabling some security against bots. As per our policy during all sales, no prebooking is done.

2) How do I join the Queue/Waiting Room?

There is no special link or such to join, you can just visit our website between 8:30-9AM to join the waiting room, the queue will open at 9AM.

3) How is queue position calculated?

The waiting room will be opened 30 minutes before the sale. The user can wait in the Waiting Room, but will not receive a queue position before the queue activates. All users who are already in the Waiting Room when the queue activates will be assigned a random queue position. Users who join the queue after that will be behind those initial users, in the order they joined the queue.

4) What happens after all watches are sold out

Once all Terra’s are sold out, it will be marked as such. All pending sessions will be destroyed. If any transactions are completed after sellout - they will be autorefunded (please see question 6)

5) What happens if I cannot complete the transaction within 5 minutes?

With one click checkout available, 5 minutes should provide enough time to checkout. However if it’s not completed in that time frame, the session will be closed and you would have to rejoin at the back of the queue.

6) My page shows that the purchase is being auto refunded?

This happens when as you are completing your payment, the inventory sells out. When there are 1000+ simultaneous transactions, there is a chance that in the time period while your payment is being processed (information relay between Cashfree -> Bank -> Cashfree -> Shopify), the inventory sells out.  In such a case, Cashfree themselves will automate the refund from their end.

7) Is the countdown really counting down live?

No. The Waiting Room checks in periodically based on how long the user's estimated wait is, typically once per minute. When the new position is retrieved the number 'counts down' to the new position. The animation is intended to reassure the user that the page has not crashed or frozen. The real check in date is shown at the bottom of the screen.

8) My token number is #3800 or below and it was still sold out, how?

Every minute the queue gives access to a fresh cohort of 500 people, this is the throughput rate. Every minute 500 people will be given access to buy the watch - so for example, if your token number is 3500, someone with token number 3900 is also entering the website at the same time. If they are able to complete their checkout first, their transaction will be processed.

9) I joined the waiting room at 8:30 sharp, and my token number was still very high, how?

If you join the waiting room at 8:30 or 8:59, it will be the same, as the token numbers are distributed randomly.
